What are sensations? How can we prove their existence?

Sensation is a subjective experience. Take pain as an example. Pain is a sensation. I am not just avoiding things mechanically. I am not just mechanically saying I feel pain , I actually feel pain, I cannot deny it.

Cd consciousness be considered a sensation? It is the sensation we have of being alive. Of perceiving. How does it relate to awareness and self-awareness?

Similarly I cannot deny that I have other sensations. I can however, deny that other minds, eg human minds, have sensations. Maybe you are a complex set of mechanical processes and you do not have this "inner life" of sensation that I do. You are just a routine.

You cd say the same thing as me, and I would vehemently deny it, which u wd think was just another output of some routine that was taking place.

But it is real, and I need to explain it to myself.

Cd consciousness be considered a sensation? It is the sensation we have of being alive. Of perceiving. How does it relate to awareness and self-awareness?
